01
CHALLENGE
Create a magazine experience that felt genuinely connected to the people and culture of the community—not simply a platform for content and advertising. Give local voices a stronger presence while creating a distinctive visual identity that could engage readers issue after issue.
02
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Built the editorial experience around real people, local stories, and a sense of community. Developed a year-long cover series inspired by iconic album artwork, featuring community members who were interviewed for the publication and then brought into the creative process as cover subjects—turning their stories into highly personal visual narratives.
