I’m the founder of jhomade, llc, a Denver-based creative studio where I explore storytelling, design, and craftsmanship through hand-cut paper creations and a collection of “ho bunch o stuff.” My love for paper began in childhood, watching my mom transform velvet paper with an X-Acto knife—a moment that sparked a lifelong appreciation for patience, precision, and the magic of making something by hand. What started with handmade greeting cards grew into a self-taught creative practice where I let ideas, sketches, and the paper itself guide the process. While each piece requires time and intention, I find joy in the journey, embracing the unexpected discoveries and challenges that come with creating something uniquely personal.
