HAND CUT
Cut Paper
I’m a Creative Director, owner, and artist who thinks through making. My cut-paper practice is where strategy, art, and curiosity collide—a hands-on way of exploring ideas through shape, composition, negative space, and transformation. I concept, design, and cut each piece by hand, turning a simple sheet of paper into intricate visual worlds. The process is equal parts precision and play, and it keeps me close to the instinct that drives all great creative work: start with an idea, make something, and see where it takes you.
My work in technology and my work with paper are more connected than they might seem. In both, I’m interested in transforming complexity into something unexpected, intuitive, and human. Paper gives me constraints; cutting creates possibility. It slows me down enough to notice details, experiment without a screen, and follow an idea beyond the obvious. In an era of AI, automation, and infinite digital possibilities, I find something powerful in making with my hands—and in proving that a single piece of paper can still be a place to imagine what’s next.
Role: Designer and Creative Director

01
CHALLENGE
Create a distinctive visual language from one of the most elemental design materials: paper. The challenge is to elevate a simple medium through precision, composition, scale, and the deliberate use of negative space.
02
CREATIVE DIRECTION
I treat paper as a design surface and a sculptural medium, using hand-cutting to explore form, depth, rhythm, and dimensionality. Every composition is intentionally designed around the relationship between what is removed and what remains, balancing meticulous craft with creative discovery.
